Finish strong.
We'll help with the rest.
Scholarships Ja supports final-year students at six Jamaican universities and colleges, awarded on genuine financial need and academic merit — so the last stretch of your degree is decided by your work, not your wallet.
Empowering through education
Scholarships Ja invests in the next generation of Jamaican professionals, scholars, and community leaders. We provide meaningful financial support to students whose academic journey would otherwise be interrupted by financial hardship.
Our scholarships are awarded to students entering their final year of study at recognised Jamaican universities and colleges. We prioritise applicants who demonstrate genuine financial need — the most important factor in our selection process — while also recognising academic achievement and community involvement.
Students from rural and underserved communities receive additional consideration. Where the scholarship will be the deciding factor in whether a student completes their studies, that application is given the highest weight.
The programme is open exclusively to Jamaican Nationals currently enrolled at one of our six partner institutions.
